Redrow Homes Offers Tempting Incentives in Perthshire

June 6 2011

Only five homes remain on the market at Redrow Homes‘ luxury Graemeslea development in Aberuthven and generous incentives on offer means that interested parties will have to move quickly to bag one of the executive five-bedroom villas.

Firstly, the house builder is offering a massive saving of up to £40,000 on selected properties at the Perthshire developmentt, with five-bedroom detached homes available from as little as £347,000. Consisting of only 33 homes, the development is ideal for house hunters with children as on site facilities such as a toddlers’ play area, children’s playground, woodland path and dry pond will keep families occupied.

Each luxury 5-bed home at Graemeslea has a stunning fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room for informal family living

Three different house styles are still available at Graemeslea, all of which have been designed with 21st century family life in mind.  Main features include a large kitchen/breakfasting/family room, a separate dining room, living room, a master bedroom that has not only its own en-suite but also the luxury of a walk-in wardrobe, a second bedroom that also benefits from built-in wardrobes and en-suite facilities, three further bedrooms, a utility room, downstairs cloakroom and garage.

With its picturesque countryside, excellent schools and abundance of outdoor pursuits on offer, Perthshire is a fantastic location in which to bring up a family.  Aberuthven also has a good selection of local shops and amenities, while the world-renowned Gleneagles Golf & Country Club is also nearby, providing a haven for adults to relax and unwind. Commuters will find that both Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour’s drive away, while Dundee can be reached in 50 minutes and Perth is just 20 minutes away by car. Gleneagles railway station provides regular services to the main towns and cities.

As well as saving money on the purchase price of a new home, buyers at Graemeslea with an existing property to sell can take advantage of Redrow Homes’ part exchange arrangement on selected plots. Part exchange removes much of the stress and cost of selling a home on the open market, as there are no estate agents or buying chains involved, with Redrow acting as a cash buyer.

The marketing suite at Graemeslea is open from Friday to Sunday, 10.00am till 5.30pm.

Redrow’s Homes Fly Off the Market

March 16 2011

Three of Redrow Homes’ developments of new homes in Scotland in the east of the country’s central belt have recently enjoyed a huge surge in interest . Buyers in the area have been purchasing homes with such enthusiasm at Graemeslea in Aberuthven, The Potteries in Prestonpans and Optima in Edinburgh that just a few properties are still available at each site.  This means homebuyers interested in bagging one of these homes need to act quickly.

Just five 5-bed family homes remain unsold at Redrow's Graemeslea scheme in Aberuthven, Perthshire, priced from £347,000

“The sales success we have seen at these three developments shows that despite the doom and gloom in the media about the economic climate there’s still a demand for quality-built homes,” says Mary McHutchison, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland). “By offering the right product, in the right place and at the right price we’ve been able to capture a significant slice of the market, offering house hunters a choice of city centre apartments, large and luxurious homes and everything in between.”

Set close to the stunning Perthshire countryside, the Graemeslea development enjoys a peaceful location. Only five properties remain for sale here, each of which is complete and ready to move into.  The five-bedroom detached family homes are priced from £347,000. Upgrading buyers with a home to sell could benefit from Redrow’s part exchange scheme and find themselves able to move in sooner than they might think. This free property valuation tool can give you an up-to-date estimate of the value of your existing home.

The 'Chatsworth' 5-bed house design costs from £357,000 at Graemeslea

Just three homes are still available at The Potteries in Prestonpans. The development is ideal for house hunters looking to find a property that provides a happy medium between country life and city convenience. The Potteries accomplishes this, with Edinburgh city centre being only 10 miles away, while the village itself has a warm, family-friendly community atmosphere. Two-bedroom apartments here cost from £133,000, with three-bedroom homes priced from £165,000.

Perfect for those hunting for a starter home, the three remaining two-bedroom apartments at Optima in Edinburgh are available from £130,000. The development is close to the city centre and good public transport links are already established.

“It could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same standard of one of our new homes,” Mary explains. “Our customers don’t have to worry about DIY or inheriting someone else’s decor, but will enjoy the peace of mind of a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty. Plus because new-build homes are designed to be energy efficient, with central heating and double glazing as standard, they’re potentially cheaper to run than their second-hand counterparts.”

She concludes: “If you want to snap up one of the final properties at Graemeslea, The Potteries or Optima you should act fast to avoid disappointment.”

This weekend, there are discounts of up to £40,000 at Graemeslea, the Redrow executive development in Aberuthven

A development of spacious new homes in Aberuthven, south-west of Perth, some prices have been discounted by up to £40,000 at Graemeslea. There are just a few four- and five-bedroom houses left for sale, all finished to Redrow’s highest specification and priced from £270,000 to £385,000. Set in countryside yet just an hour away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh, the development would be ideal for an executive with a family.

Middlebank Rise is located east of Dunfermilne, ideally placed for the M90 motorway linking Perth to the Forth Road Bridge, and is 25 minutes from Edinburgh by car. Two-bedroom apartments at the scheme start at £122,500, with two-, three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £129,000 to £230,000, including some designs from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection of Arts and Crafts-inspired houses. Redrow is offering part-exchange deals on selected plots as well as a range of other special incentives this weekend.

In Inverkip, there’s a range of three- and four-bedroom houses for sale at Sylvan Brae, priced £171,000 to £205,000. A world away from the bustle of Glasgow on the Renfrewshire coast, the town is only 45 minutes way by car. There is also a rail service into the city from the local station. Inverclyde has some stunning coastal and rural scenery and is a wildlife haven, with many sports and outdoor activities available in the surrounding area.

At its Whitehirst Grange development, Redrow’s new homes in Kilwinning also benefit from a combination of proximity to the coast, some delightful countryside and good commuter links. There are three- and four-bedroom homes here with prices ranging from £175,000 to £255,000. Kilwinning itself is undergoing a substantial regeneration scheme at present and there is a country park, numerous beautiful beaches and some of Scotland’s best golf courses all accessible in a short drive (no pun intended!) from the development.
