April 25 2012

CALA Homes (West) has unveiled a new show home at Belleview, the house builder’s latest North Lanarkshire development.  People looking to find a property in the West of Scotland are urged to get in quickly as there are just 10 detached family homes being built at the exclusive new development in Chryston.

“Homebuyers who desire the beauty of a village, but the convenience of a central location, should look no further than Belleview at Chryston,” says Aileen Lafferty, Sales Manager at CALA Homes (West). “This rural retreat is proving to be very popular, and I’m sure that the launch of our spectacular ‘Logan’ show home will attract many visitors to the development.”

Taken from the house builder’s Signature Collection, the ‘Logan’ is a five-bedroom family home that has been expertly decorated and furnished by Blocc Interiors.  The designers have used the property’s sense of light and space to create a real contemporary feel.

The formal lounge has been given a lavish look with gold and silver hues being accented with touches of teal. An impressive chandelier and the feature mirror hung above the focal point fireplace finish the room.  The hub of the home is the open plan kitchen, family and dining area.  The kitchen includes integrated Siemens appliances and is given a luxurious feel by the neutral colour scheme and contemporary furnishings.  French doors lead from the dining area onto the decking section of the landscaped rear garden so meals can easily be enjoyed outdoors in the summer months.  A utility room off the kitchen also gives access to the garage.

Taylor Wimpey Launches Final Phase at Ferry Village

May 30 2011

The launch of the final phase of apartments at Taylor Wimpey‘s Ferry Village near Braehead was done in style last weekend.  The development of new homes in Scotland saw Renfrewshire’s Lord Provost Celia Lawson plant a commemorative tree as visitors enjoyed a tipple of champagne to mark the occasion. A new show home was also unveiled (open from 11am till 5.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays) and an astounding three apartments were reserved during the first weekend of release.

Ferry Village from Taylor Wimpey

Three apartments were snapped up at the opening weekend of the final phase of homes at Taylor Wimpey's Ferry Village

Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said: “We’re honoured that Provost Lawson could join us today to help mark the final piece in the jigsaw for Taylor Wimpey. The tree-lined boulevards are a key feature within the development, and at the initial launch of the development around ten years ago, a tree was also planted so it’s fitting that Provost Lawson marks the final phase in the same way.”

She continued: “Following our previous developments at Ferry Village, we’re confident that the overall area of Ferry Village in Renfrew is now firmly established as a great place to live. The area is increasing in popularity and these apartments are an attractive option for first-time buyers and investors looking to maximise the increasing interest in this area of Renfrew. Buyers will also have the benefit from having a long lead time to save for their dream property, because the first projected move-in dates are not until January/February 2012, therefore giving buyers the chance to save further and plan ahead for their move.”

The newly launched phase of Ferry Village comprises just 49 one-, two- and three-bedroom properties, and judging by the success story so far, interested house hunters should act quickly to snap one up. While the area is within easy reach of Glasgow city centre, residents can still reap the relaxing benefits of a tranquil location at Renfrew Riverside. Well established public transport links and easy access to the motorway make the daily commute relatively painless, while the Braehead Arena, shopping centre and Xscape centre are located nearby and provide excellent leisure facilities for all interests.

Prices at Ferry Village start at £94,995, or £76,708 when taking advantage of the company’s shared equity scheme, and the new homes are bursting with features including allocated parking spaces, fitted wardrobes and French doors.
