Cruden Homes has super pre-Christmas deals in Stirling

There’s a very special pre-Christmas opportunity available from Cruden Homes, which is offering house hunters in Stirling a super deal at its Stirling Bridge development. The company has cut reservation fees to just £99, with nothing more to pay until March 2012, and has linked this incentive to two further exceptional offers.

The first offer means successful house purchasers can get their five per cent deposit paid and have floor coverings included in the price of their new home. The second option is a shared equity scheme, where new homeowners only have to pay 85% of the purchase price up front, with 15% deferred for up to ten years, interest-free.

If , however, customers take up the company’s 85%/15%  shared equity option, the up-front price comes down to a very attractive £114,745, requiring a much lower deposit and mortgage.

“Just Ask” for the latest homes in CALA’s Signature range

Soltire Award salutes Springfield’s innovative approach

The Saltire Society has acknowledged Springfield Properties’ work  on an innovative package to fund affordable new homes in Scotland with a prestigious award. The  ‘Innovation in Housing” award – the first of its kind -was presented recently at the Saltire Society Housing Design Awards. It was shared by Springfield and its partners Dunedin Canmore Group and Rettie & Co., for their joint work on the Resonance funding model.

Originally the brainchild of property consultants Rettie & Co, and later piloted by Dunedin Canmore and Springfield, Resonance is a new approach to affordable housing that encourages the building of more affordable properties around Scotland. Clearly highly successful, the pilot has already delivered some 75 new homes in Scotland and there are  80 more homes in the pipeline, due to be built in 2012.
