Cruden Homes has super pre-Christmas deals in Stirling

December 21 2011

There’s a very special pre-Christmas opportunity available from Cruden Homes, which is offering house hunters in Stirling a super deal at its Stirling Bridge development. The company has cut reservation fees to just £99, with nothing more to pay until March 2012, and has linked this incentive to two further exceptional offers.

The first offer means successful house purchasers can get their five per cent deposit paid and have floor coverings included in the price of their new home. The second option is a shared equity scheme, where new homeowners only have to pay 85% of the purchase price up front, with 15% deferred for up to ten years, interest-free.

Stirling Bridge from Cruden Homes

Just four 3-bed homes are available with the special deals that have been introduced by Cruden Homes in the run-up to Christmas

As these exceptional offers are only available up to Christmas, prospective buyers will have to move quickly, especially as there are only four homes remaining at this development of new homes in Scotland’s youngest city. All the remaining houses for sale at the Stirling Bridge development are  three-bedroom terraced homes, priced from £134,995. If , however, customers take up the company’s 85%/15%  shared equity option, the up-front price comes down to a very attractive £114,745, requiring a much lower deposit and mortgage.

These remaining houses enjoy a traditional layout and a high-quality specification. The lower floor on each house has a cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen/dining room and separate living room, and French doors leading out on to the rear garden. The upper floor incorporates a family bathroom and three bedrooms, and the master bedroom has an en suite shower room and built-in wardrobe. All the homes benefit from double glazing and gas central heating, and have a private garden and a two-car driveway.

The Stirling Bridge development has a great location in the north-west of the city, just a few minutes from the A84 and M9, making it a good choice for commuters to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth. The city centre is also close by, boasting an historic castle and a raft of up-to-date amenities and shops.

The rest of this successful Cruden Homes’ development features an attractive  mix of apartments, terraces, detached and semi detached homes and interested house hunters are urged to visit Stirling Bridge or call 0845 474 8909 soon to pick up one of these seasonal offers.

Beat the January Sales with Bett Homes’ festive incentives on luxury homes.

November 23 2011

If a brand new, high–specification home in or around Glasgow is on your wish-list this season, there’s no need to wait until the January sales to save big this winter. Bett Homes is cutting £34,000 from the price of its top of the range family properties at its Academy Grove development of new homes in East Dunbartonshire, as part of the copmpany’s new festive incentive.

Academy Grove from Bett Homes
House hunters who can move quickly will get exceptional value with a ‘Sandringham’ 5-bed home at Academy Grove, from Bett Homes

House hunters can save big this festive period, long before the January sales! The spacious five-bedroom ‘Sandringham’ homes have had their price cropped from £764,000 to £730,000. And, making that pre-Christmas buy even more attractive, any home reserved during November will get landscaped gardens, along with carpets and curtains, for no extra cost.

The ‘Sandringham’ properties are ready to move into for the festive period and would certainly make any family’s Christmas even more special this year.

Grace Brownlow, Sales and Marketing Director for Bett Homes says: “This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a new family home in time for Christmas and with the price of these outstanding properties now reduced by £34,000 there will be no need to cut back on the Christmas shopping!”

Each property has a central hallway leading to a fully fitted kitchen/family room, a living room, large study and cloakroom. The accommodation is thoughtfully laid out, with the kitchen enjoying a separate utility room and another cloakroom; and the formal dining room leads off the family room, which also accesses the living room.

On the first floor there’s a family bathroom and five double bedrooms. The master bedroom is particularly spacious and benefits from an en suite bathroom complete with a real touch of luxury, a tile TV. Bedroom two has an en suite shower room and bedrooms three and four share a ‘Jack and Jill’ en suite.

Bearsden, where the development is situated, is just six miles north-west of Glasgow’s city centre, and has become one of the city’s most sought-after suburbs. It combines convenient links into the city with proximity to the East Dunbartonshire countryside. There’s a road route into the city via the A81 and there are rail services from the local station into Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations.

Conscious of the pressures of the busy festive season, Bett Homes is keen to make moving into one of their homes as easy as possible. The sales and marketing suite at Academy Grove is open seven days a week, from 11.00am to 5.00pm, enabling house hunters to find the time to visit these Scottish new homes in person and discuss their options with the Bett Homes team.

Bett Homes is ensuring Burntisland is a key location for homeseekers on either side of the Firth of Forth in the run up to this Christmas. The leading housebuilder is now offering buyers two excellent incentive schemes at their Waterside development of new homes in Fife. There are substantial discounts available — up to £15,000 on one plot — as well as an offer to pay mortgages for twelve months. In addition, buyers with an existing property to sell may qualify for a part exchange deal, bypassing the hassle of selling their home on the open market.

Situated only 22 miles from Edinburgh, Waterside offers “commuter heaven” for people working in the Capital or the busy Fife centres of  Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy. The development, which is open for viewings from 11.00am until 5.00pm, Thursday to Monday, has a great beach-side location and offers a range of modern four- and five-bedroom detached and split-level homes. Plot 50 is a five-bedroom detached ‘Moray’ villa with integral garage, and offers a particular bargain just now, as Bett Homes has reduced its price by more than £15,000 to just £279,995.

Waterside from Bett Homes

A brand new home at Waterside is now even more affordable thanks to the new incentives from Bett Homes

Bett’s Sales and Marketing Director Grace Brownlow comments: “The family homes at Waterside are truly magnificent and with our part exchange option or your mortgage paid for a year, there has never been a better time to move – especially with the amazing reduction currently on offer on plot 50.”

As well as being close to Edinburgh,  with regular rail services and easy access to the A92 and M90, Burntisland homeowners can enjoy amazing coastal views and walkways, a lively town centre with good shops, a modern leisure centre with a 25-metre pool, a museum, library and 18-hole golf course, as well as a lovely Blue Flag beach.

With amenities like these, it’s no wonder Bett Homes is keen to help as many people as possible move to a property in Waterside. “It can be very difficult to take that next step up the property ladder,” says Grace Brownlow, “so at Bett Homes we’re offering a helping hand. We will either pay your mortgage for a whole year or, if you have an existing property to sell, you can take advantage of our part exchange option.”

The company’s Mortgage Paid offer will cover all mortgage payments for a 12-month period, up to a maximum of five per cent of the value of the new home. Under the part exchange deal, Bett Homes will buy your existing property, and will let you stay on in your old home until your brand new Bett Homes’ property is  completed.

Taylor Wimpey Offer Homebuyers Protection from Gazanging!

November 2 2011

As if homebuyers don’t have enough to worry about in the current climate, they now have to actively avoid being ‘gazanged’. It’s the latest property market buzzword, and describes the moment a vendor pulls out of an agreed sale, leaving the potential buyer without a deal, and possibly a home.

Abbey Grange from Taylor Wimpey

Avoid being 'gazanged' by purchasing a new Taylor Wimpey home.

Whilst you may not have heard about ‘gazanging’, new research by In-Deed, an online conveyancing firm, suggests an estimated 54,000 buyers were victims of ‘gazanging’ in the first six months of 2011, up 20% on the last six months in 2010.

Major housebuilder Taylor Wimpey claim to have the answer – they point out that if you buy from one of their developments of new homes in Scotland, they can guarantee you won’t have to worry about being left high and dry through ‘gazanging’.

Karen Armstrong, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland says:

“Gazanging is becoming increasingly common and could be down to a seller not finding a suitable property to move to, nervousness in the current climate, or the fact that they simply change their minds and decide to sit tight. In buying a new Taylor Wimpey home you eliminate all of these fears. We’re not going to get cold feet or pull a property off the market once a deal has been agreed.”

Taylor Wimpey offer a number of other great reasons to buy new at their east of Scotland developments – Abbey Grange in Arbroath, Burnside in Kinglassie, Gospatrick Grange in Dunbar and Preston Gate in Prestonpans. These include a ten-year NHBC guarantee, a two-year Taylor Wimpey guarantee, and energy-efficient construction and appliances.

Karen Armstrong explains that the service and customer care provided by Taylor Wimpey East Scotland will always improve the buying experience for homehunters: “We pride ourselves on giving buyers the information they need to be able to make a confident decision. With part exchange and other incentives available on selected plots, not to mention our experienced team on standby to support buyers through every stage of the buying and selling process, you won’t believe how easy it can be.”
